About
I'm Aden—a computer science student who likes the cleanup-heavy parts of engineering as much as the first build.

I'm a computer science student at UTEP who likes building software that feels solid, not just impressive in a screenshot.
A lot of the work I enjoy lives in backend systems, full-stack product work, testing, and the cleanup-heavy engineering work that makes software usable after launch.
So far that has meant infrastructure work at Google, high-volume problem solving at Intuit, youth-facing STEAM instruction, and side projects that keep getting more serious over time.
I'm looking for SWE internships, part-time tech work, and teams where I can contribute early, learn from stronger engineers, and keep getting better at shipping careful work.
How I work
Backend and systems
I like the parts of software that have to survive edge cases, stay readable, and still make sense after the first version ships.
Full-stack product work
I still care about whether an interface makes sense, whether the copy sounds normal, and whether someone would keep using it after the demo.
Testing and rollout discipline
A lot of my best work comes from tightening coverage, watching latency, and making sure changes are safe enough to ship without drama.
Practical AI and automation
The interesting part for me is not just using models. It is knowing where automation actually helps and where normal software should stay in charge.
Outside the editor
I teach STEAM, stay involved with UTEP's engineering community, and enjoy work that lets me explain complicated things plainly. This site is deliberately a little quieter than most developer portfolios: the work should do the talking.
